I have a new song which I am obsessed with! I was listening to it constantly whilst making this post! Feel free to play it as you continue to read, with the actors below having tragic stories the song only made me more depressed, come join me! LOL ;D
Dear Readers
This Is dedicated to those Fictional & and Non Fictional; Smexy, swoon worthy, smouldering, and gorgeous people who are around, not real human beings LOL! and even those who are long gone. Included are people who make me instantly fan myself or sigh with admiration.! This is a just a bit of fun, but also a great way to vent the unfairness of their ridiculously great looks and undeniable persona, really though? a opportunity to reminisce which I am really looking forward to. RAWR!
Note- As you might have guessed by my list so far, I am kind of old school; don't worry though, I'll be adding a lot more names in the near future which you might be more familiar with. If you have a recommendation of anyone you think I might take a liking to, comment under this most. Remember the person can be anyone. Male or female. Actor, Singer, Violinist, whatever basically! Someone that appeals to you who you find smexy, cute, mysterious or just downright attractive! However remember, sexy can be perceived in many ways apart from ones appearance. It can come down to personality, their demeanour or being charismatic, and so on. So that should give you a larger range to choose from. Once you give me a recommendation I will look up the individual and decide within the week if they will be added on to the list. If your pick is chosen, of course I will credit you alongside the entry. Be sure to add why you chose the person, and what makes you think I will like them.
originally I had just decided on the pictures, and then found myself adding a bio, quote and videos, due to this it has been more time consuming than I would have liked, but I think it was totally worth it, so I hope you enjoy it!!

In No Particular Order
Homosexuality is so much in fashion it no longer makes news. Like a large number of men, I, too, have had homosexual experiences and I am not ashamed. I have never paid much attention to what people think about me. But if there is someone who is convinced that Jack Nicholson and I are lovers, may they continue to do so. I find it amusing
Regret is useless in life. It's in the past. All we have is now.
Marilyn was a sensitive, misunderstood person, much more perceptive than was generally assumed. She had been beaten down, but had a strong emotional intelligence -- a keen intuition for the feelings of others, the most refined type of intelligence. We had an affair and saw each other intermittently until she died in 1962. It's been speculated that she had a secret rendezvous with [Robert F. Kennedy] that week and was distraught because he wanted to end an affair between them. But she didn't seem depressed to me, and I don't think that if she was sleeping with him at the time she would have invited me over for dinner. I'm sure she didn't commit suicide. I have always believed that she was murdered.
Bio - Born -Marlon Brando Jr 3 April 1824 Omaha, Nebraska, USA. Died - 1 July 2004 (pulmonary fibrosis) (Aged 80) Bud (his childhood family nickname) and Mr Mumbles (given to him by Frank Sinatra)
Known as the greatest actor of all time, there is no denying, besides his fine acting skills it was his looks that caught everyone's eye. Men and women alike fell in love with him or wanted to be like him. As a child, acting was a skill that he nurtured on his own since his parents were to intoxicated on a daily basis to pay him any real attention. Knowing his mother had a love for acting he would play act for her to seek her attention. Although at times as a boy he had to pick her up from jail many times due to her being intoxicated, he loved her dearly. Most of all he loved the fact that she had given him this love for nature and a great consideration for those less fortunate than him. Like many he went to school but, in Marlon Brando fashion he dropped out of school for good after being expelled from Libertyville High School for riding his motorcycle through the corridors. LOL hearing that I can't help but smile. It seems like something that only Marlon Brando would do.
Many co-stars mentioned, that he turned down countless movie roles that could have defined him as an actor in a higher sense, but said no because if something unfortunate had occurred to someone around the same time he couldn't bring himself to earn such money when someone else was suffering, this made him unpredictable, and at times unreliable when it came to casting him for a movie. For a man who loved women and was known to be quite hard to work with, he had a great sensitivity and consideration for others that never went unnoticed, and only added to his Iconic image. He was quickly accepted by the industry, but he had his good and bad times. The bad often being his battle with his weight in his later years, although he seemed to embrace it rather than worry about the affect it would have on him in the near future. He was known for his great love for food and the comfort he took in it. He was utterly charming and knew exactly how good looking he was, he used his looks to his full advantage to woe both women and men. He openly admitted to having an affair with Marilyn Manroe up to her death and on being Homosexual. He had a "I don't give a shit what you think about me" attitude, and I love that about him!
He was married a few times and dated many. Once when a fellow co-star confided in him that his one wish was to be in love one day, Marlon replied; "Me to, just don't tell my wife." Or something along those lines. I find that sad. It makes me wonder what does it take for man like Marlon Brando to find love? I know he wrote an autobiography, it's one that I look very forward to reading someday, hopefully it will answer many of my questions. Being held in high regard and envied to this day by our finest actor e.g., Jack Nicholson, Robert de Niro, Johnny Depp and many more. Marlon Brando really was, the greatest and most gorgeous actor that ever lived.
I know I'm not an easy person to get along with, I'm no walk in the park.
Do you remember when Marilyn Monroe died? Everybody stopped work, and you could see all that day the same expressions on their faces, the same thought: "How can a girl with success, fame, youth, money, beauty . . . how could she kill herself?" Nobody could understand it because those are the things that everybody wants, and they can't believe that life wasn't important to Marilyn Monroe, or that her life was elsewhere.
Marlon Brando
Marlon Brando was the epitome of male beauty in his time, with the features, body and bad boy demeanour with a reputation as a womaniser he had it all. |
Can you seriously resist that face? |
He was physically attracted to Vivien Leigh during the making of A Streetcar Named Desire (1951). He could not bring himself to seduce her, however, as he found her husband, Laurence Olivier, to be such a "nice guy." Hmmm My initial thought was, you cocky ,arrogant shizz eh! LOL it was almost as though he knew if he attempted to seduce her she was his, and so was doing her husband a favour in backing of. Like I mentioned he knew he had it all, at least he was honest about it right? :D
Awww! Now you do not get a more adorable moment than this!! He seems amused more than anything else :)
Can't make out what's on his shoulder, a cat? It's a lovely and almost a personal pic. Love how he seems totally distracted by his type writer.
You can tell he's quite a bit older here, but still horribly handsome, I can not stand cigarettes, but damn him; he carries it of well, and looks cool whilst doing it, now not many can pull that of!
Okay I must admit, I detest those jeans, but for him I'll make an exception :)
Romantic of what?
Hmmmmm.. :)
LOL I love how Katy Jurado looks like she's telling him of!
Being cool as usual :D
Okay, I'll let the picture speak for itself in this one *sighs* |
That smouldering look, that relaxed vibe he is giving of with the cigarette in his hands, just exhumes sex appeal! OH MY GOSH!! I was pretty much fanning myself all the way through, darn his freaking hotness! I mean how the hell is it that, hardly anything is happening but the man is making a girl blush *sigh* Not fair, I think I was born in the wrong time period. Why can't there be a Brando for our time :(( Another movie I have to watch now :D

Norma Jean had a disturbing and very turbulent childhood. Her mother who was widowed and mentally ill, abandoned her leaving her to spend many years going from one Foster home to the other. She suffered neglect as well as coming close to being sexually abused many times as a child. She married a man simply because she had no one else. It was said she owned over 200 books, Whitman being one of her favourites. Music wise she loved Beethoven. Perception of her being a dumb blond was merely an image and perception made by others. She had an above average IQ.
Described as naive and child-like, many say all she ever wanted was to be loved. She is said to have been taken advantage by men countless times in and outside of the industry. Never knowing who her father was, and her mother spending her years in a mental intuition left her homeless, alone, and neglected. When fame finally came her way alongside a new name and appearance, although there was the money and glamour, and her well known relationships and affairs, it would seem she never truly found that one man who made her happy long-term.
The last months of her life were not so great, she was dropped out from her last movie due to not arriving on set in time constantly. The movie was left unfinished, but clips show a much skinnier Marilyn, who easily forgot her lines and seemed weak. Two months after being sacked from the movie she was found dead with a phone in her hand that she had used to ring many before her death, It was said to be a suicide. Her tragic death influences many even now, she is an iconic symbol of beauty and confidence who accepted her sensuality and embraced it, a women many now strive to be like. She may have never felt loved in life, but she continues to be loved by her fans long after her death.
No one ever told me I was pretty when I was a little girl. All little girls should be told they're pretty, even if they aren't.
I want to grow old without face-lifts... I want to have the courage to be loyal to the face that I have made.
Marilyn Manroe
She had an enchanting smile, she is at her best, sexy, glamorous, healthy, glowing and beautiful
I love how she looks so natural here, a very cutsie and sweet picture, her smile is just infectious.
How could I miss out this Iconic picture?
|
Marilyn is able to prove that she can look just as sexy, relaxed and natural, with with her sleeves rolled up. |
It's almost as though you have caught her in a moment. |
Okay she looks amazing here, Red is definitely her colour! |
I have seen quite a few pictures in which she is reading, she was a book lover, I love that. She is reading Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass. She looks absolutely gorgeous here! Ps- she is actually singing. The dress is on the riskayyyy side but she of course pulls it of! |
James Dean
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
(Not really my type, I never really paid him much attention until a few months ago. Suddenly I really looked and thought wow! How could I have missed it? Now I may even prefer him to Marlon Brando, whilst Brando is excruciatingly beautiful there is something very, very charming about James Dean which entrances me)
Bio - Born as James Byron Dean Marion, Indiana, USA 8 February 1931 - Died 30 September 1955 (aged 24) (Road Accident) Nick Name - Jimmy Dean (known fondly as Jimmy by close friends)
Always having a dream of being an actor he received legendary status with sadly his second to last movie, which built his image, and gave him the credibility that he deserves. Rebel Without A Cause (1955) and Giant his last movie (1956) which was released after his death. He was merely 24 at the time of his death, but his tragic death along with his image and impact that he had with the few movies he did make , made him a man made legend. For the first time teenagers were able to identify with an actor, he represented the younger generation and through movies such as East of Eden audiences were able to relate to him and his image and more than anything even imitate him.
He faced sadness romance wise, being in love with fellow actress Pier Angeli; the both of them planned to get married, it was short lived due to her mother not allowing her daughter to be with him because he apparently wasn't good for her (Due to his bad boy image) and also because he wasn't Catholic. She was then made to marry another. Not long after, she committed suicide, stating in her letter that he was the only man she ever loved. His Idol happened to be Marlon Brando. On set he was known for playing jokes and reading. Former co-stars mentioned how he craved to be loved but wanting a love that he could possibly never return haunted him. He was also known for being incredibly shy as well as his big love for Cars. His favourite book was "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, and his favourite drink was coffee and his favourite ice cream flavours were coffee and raspberry. He also happened to be near-sighted and wore thick glasses when not on screen.
Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today.
James Dean and Pier Angeli, just look at how he's looking at her "swoon"
The two of them again, how adorable!
Incredibly Handsome, and dashing, don't you just love the way he holds her in a protective manner? |
This as they say, this is what I call the epitome of cool. Known as the ultimate rebel with a love for fast Cars, James Dean is deliciously the bad boy all mothers fear, but one that we all yearn for. |
How can one man be so damn attractive? |
Okay I have no idea what is going on here, be he sure looks smexy at it :D |
I read that he was incredibly shy, I find that so endearing :) |
Doesn't this picture almost give him this boyishness? He was very young so it would make sense I suppose, I like it. |
His whole facial structure is laid bare here, and let me say I am very, very impressed. |
Who Knew a man could look so damn sexy with glasses? |
Trailer to Rebel Without a Cause (1955) His last movie :( I plan on watching it very soon!

Madhubala was one of the most sought out actresses of her time. Many noticed though, that her beauty almost upstaged her acting abilities. She is known for having a career with it's fair share of highs and lows, but it's her personal life which captivates audiences even now. It was well know that a young Madhubala fell madly in love with Dilip Kumar. An actor who like her was at the peak of his career. She and Dilip Kumar met on the set of Tarana (1951) when she was eighteen years-old. While filming, she sent her hairdresser with a note written in Urdu along with a red rose asking him to accept it if he loved her, which intrigued and amused him and so he accepted the rose. They were the golden couple of their time, and although they never made it known publicly it was a 7 year courtship that all were well aware of. Perhaps the fascination with Madhubala is her tragic end, and most of all her big belief in love.
However, due to some conflicts and bitterness the couple broke up. It was at this time that they were shooting a movie that took 9 years to make, a movie that would make history. "Mughal e Azam". 2-3 years before the film wrapped up the couple had split. Her health quickly deteriorating to the point of even struggling to stand for long period of time, she put her all into the movie despite the tension with Dilip and her struggling to do the more challenging scenes. The touching and romantic scenes hurt the most. She was still madly in love with him. However due to her father (who was very strict, and even deemed greedy) they never really stood a chance. In fact they broke up because of him. People on the set reminisced about the tension that lingered between the two, in those last two years whilst doing the movie. He couldn't forgive her and was still bitter, her ego matching his own she couldn't approach him. There is no happy ending. The Movie released, it was the the most highest grossing movie ever in India, it was also the most expensive movie ever made.
It was Madhubalas last movie, she was not in good health and was shortly bedridden for her remaining years. Dilip eventually married. The director breathed this movie and put his tears, sweat and blood in making it, many say that perhaps these actors pure existence was to make this one earth shattering movie. What brings audiences to watch the movie again and again, is the similarity between the two actors to the people they play. Based on two people who are in love, but because of others struggle to be together. It does have a Romeo and Juliet theme only it's darker. There is no denying even after all these years their chemistry was amazing. It is said although her father had her married to another, she never stopped loving Dilip. She often asked of him in her last days, and sent word to people she knew he was in contact with that she still loved him. Some sources claim that he did come so see her in her final days, some say he didn't. I'll have to do some more research into it, to get to the bottom of it. Many even now, say she died of a broken heart.
Madhubala
She looks elegant, confident, and lovely, one of my favourite pictures of her.
Known as one of the rare beauties of her time. Fact: Never attended award shows apart from one and never appeared in any interviews, due to her father not wanting her to. Coming from a poor family she was the earner that supported her family. |
There are not many pictures of her in colour, so when you do get a glimpse of one, you can see how beautiful she really is. |
|
Her smile and expressive face were her well known attributes which clearly shows why in this picture :) |
Madhubala and Dilip in Mughal e Azam
Here is a video which features both actors. You would never guess that she was dying or that they are no longer together. As I said amazing chemistry. Don't worry I don't understand what's being said in the song either LOL. The whole point is to enjoy the video and their moment together. Feel free to skip to 1:41 which is when it really starts.
