"Today you are encouraged to highlight a couple of bloggers that have made book blogging a unique experience for you. They can be your mentors, a blogger that encouraged you to try a different kind of book, opened your eyes to a new issue, made you laugh when you needed it, or left the first comment you ever got on your blog. Stay positive and give back to the people who make the community work for you!"
In all honesty, I am tempted to mention many names. Names that come to mind that have been there, supported me and made me feel welcome from the very beginning. I am so grateful and lucky to know the bloggers that I do. I remember every one of you that said "hi" "welcome to blogging" and "can't wait to discuss books!" because you have no idea what those words meant to me at the time, what they still do. I felt happy, less anxious. And although a lot has changed since then. University, Jobs, College and life overall may have resulted in you taking a break, quit blogging, or posting less frequently like myself. However, I have never forgotten how lovely you were in those first few weeks. How those very people are still loyal friends - because I do consider you that - friends. Even if some of us don't talk as much as we should, I still hold a undeniable fondness and appreciation that one can only hold - in my opinion - for a friend.
There are simply far too many people to name.
But I think you know who you are.
It will be two years in November, and if I still hop over to your blog - although I may not be as frequent as I once was. If nearly two years later I'm still around, then you know, this one if for you.
Thank you for making me feel at home.
