Holiday + Its been two years!

Hey everyone! I'll be setting off for the airport in 2 hours, but I didn't want to leave before I filled you guys in. I'm going to Pakistan for 6 weeks. And although I'm a little anxious (I watch the news, and shit, I'm a little freaked out, but we live in safe area, thank god.) A big part of me is just full on curious. It's been 10 years since I went there, or on any holiday and I need a change of scenery. I just woke up so try not to mind if I start rambling a little.

Thankfully, I finished up all the packing last night but I spent until 5am doing so. Which means I'm more tired today than I should be. But it's nothing that a quick fix of tea can't fix up. So, I was contemplating what books to take with me. Not only for the plane ride, but because my cousins obviously go to school or might be busy with school work at times, and I need something to pre - occupy me. On the other hand, they'll want me to spend a lot of time with them. Liking my 'me' time, I'm going to have to get used to having a lot of children around!

On another note, I've been blogging for 2 years! Wow. That's heck of a time. :D LOL. I am never any good at this blogiversary thing! I think this is the part where I say that it really doesn't feel like 2 years, but it kinda does. And that's not a bad thing at all. I'm very aware of every post I wrote and posted. And I hold on to those memories.

These are the books I have in my suitcase right now.

  • Jellicoe Road By Melina Marchetta. (This was a must) I need some favourites that I wouldn't mind reading more than once. So Jellicoe Road was the first book that came to mind and the first I packed. (it's in the handbag)

  • Matched By Ally Condie. I recall really liking this one, BUT EVERYONE ELSE IS LIKE. 'noooooo' so I'm going to re -read it to see what everyone is talking about. :P

  • Swim the Fly. I hear it's hilarious and I can do with something to make me giggle. Might read this one on the plane.

  • The Summer I Turned Pretty By Jenny Han. You remember what it felt like the first time you read this. The butterflies that took you by surprise, the silly grin you cannot for the life of you wipe off. And so much swooning. It's the best out of the series, so it was one that I instantly picked.

  • The Sky Is Everywhere By Jandy Nelson. Do I need to even explain?

  •  The Red Lotus By Pai Kit Fai. This one's going to be in my handbag to read on the way. I have no idea what to expect but it's been on my shelf for a while. Time I cracked this one open

  • Fall For Anything By Courtney Summers. Heck yes, I am ready to indulge in the awesomeness that is Summers.

The Problem? There are only two books in this list that I have not read!!! I might regret it later, but I couldn't leave behind some of my favourites, I just couldn't.

My uncle did say that he'll have the Internet set up by the time we get there. But since all my family is there, I'm thinking the time when I'll be able to sneak on a few minutes on here may be during the night.

And that, folks, is all for now. I'll try to keep you all posted. I might even include some pictures throughout the weeks. Happy reading everyone! <3
