Synopsis - Willow knows shes different from other girls. And not just because she loves tinkering around with cars. Willow has a gift. She can look into peoples futures, know their dreams, their hopes and their regrets, just by touching them. She has no idea where she gets this power from... But Alex does. Gorgeous, mysterious Alex knows Willows secret and is on a mission to stop her. The dark forces within Willow make her dangerous and irresistible. In spite of himself, Alex finds he is falling in love with his sworn enemy.

My Thoughts - Upon hearing only great things about this novel the number one factor that most appealed to me was that the book was fast paced! You know when you loose count of the pages that you have been reading always indicates that you have one great book on your hands, let me say i sure wasn't disappointed. I may have forgotten for a while what it felt like to feel a novel just flow smoothly however Angel bought that feeling back.

Willow thinks she's physic, by just touching a individuals hand she can determine their fate, she has quickly become the one to turn to if you want some solace or advice around campus. Her best friend Beth doesn't believe a word of it though actually the reader for a while might not warm to Beth, no matter what it feels like she can't be happy or supportive of Willow. Now Willow hasn't exactly had it easy, she and her mother live with her aunt Jo who sees them as a burden. With a mother not quite mentally there and nowhere else to go the roles are reversed and she finds herself working hard to stay in her aunts good books. She isn't your average girl though, with a knack for not being afraid of getting down and dirty and fixing a engine or two despite her pretty looks she isn't one to underestimate, Nor is she a pushover.

Enters Alex a boy no Man, who happens to be a assassin, now you don't get more badass than that! although he is gorgeous , deadly, sarcastic and fearless at times and contains all the traits of a bad boy, not once did he appear to me as such, i always thought of him as a man, to manly in my opinion to be labeled a bad boy, even though he is young, he in my opinion is older beyond his years. He is closed of as is Willow and they don't exactly meet eye to eye on their first encounter. What i loved was that Willow wasn't afraid to gave him a piece of her mind, she wasn't a pushover and she didn't act like a helpless girl who needed saving. I admired her bravery and determination. Alex and Willow don't connect as even friends for a long time, the relationship between the two in my opinion was very realistic, they took their time figuring each other out and balanced each other, if the other made a mistake they accepted it and moved forward from it, i found a sense of growth within these two characters that i haven't felt for a quite long time.

Here comes the interesting part

The bad guys? Are the Angels... Now i found this difficult to grasp at first, firstly they weren't described as sinister or twisted, they didn't have black feathers that would indicate they were evil., no in fact there were filled with light and glowed with beauty which they used to their advantage. Up until now it screams against everything we have read in YA based on Angels. I found it a clever twist. I feel the author held her own and bought a fresh take on this new popular concept. The Angels are taking over Planet Earth, feeding of Humans life force and brain washing them on to their side, When Willows own friend becomes one of them she finds that she has no choice but to go on the run with Alex who doesn't seem to like her at all. She is going against the only thing she has ever known. "Her mother" What Willow doesn't realise is that in the middle of all this chaos she has a bigger part to play than anyone could have ever imagined.

With plenty of action, heartbreak, fear and love this book is sure to melt right through you. They know who Alex is, They now know what Willow represents and the Angels realise there is only one fate for the two of them
Can they cheat death itself, or is one sacrifice the only path left to save them all?

Con - Next to the synopsis it says so and so reinvented the fairies , L. A Weatherly reinvented the Angels and as cool as that all sounds i could have done without seeing twilight mentioned! urghhh! Then it says Stephanie Meyer reinvented Vampires , no she did not, LJ Smith did :) Stephanie Meyer reinvented, stupid insecure girls and sparkly stalkers and a pedophile wolf so whatever, i could have done without the twilight mention since every time i see one on a book it annoys the heck out of me, Love or hate what i just said folks, I'm just being honest, can't hate on that xD

Pro - The book was freaking fantastic, i can't wait for the squeal because i have a pretty good idea that it's going to rock just as much if not more, i might just agree, L. A Weatherly may have just reinvented the Angels, the Naughty kind that is :D
